A Day in the Life (Bootcamp)
Monotonous tones
Seep deep in my bones,
Burrow into the grind
Wherein my stomach they bind,
And burn there in the pits of me.

Fridge Fight
I did witness quite a sight
Returning from the grocery store:
A disheveled scene, a ripened fight
Left the fridge basted in war.

A Merry Potter Christmas
’Twas the night before Yule, when all throughout Hogwarts
Not a creature was stirring, not even Draco’s cohorts.
The icicles were hung in the common rooms with care,
In hopes that Headless Nick soon would be there.

An Ancient Visitor
It began with plunging, crashing floods
Released from thick, brute sheets of ice.
Their tearing teeth gnashing through the
Mountains of granite, quartz and gneiss.

Emotional Support Cheese
When the darkness of life closes around me,
Crashing down walls made of thickest anxiety,
I internally shudder and gasp for breath while
Walking to the fridge for some cheese.

Letter From Terra
My friend,
Hear these words as they fall
From golden fingertips
Upon the mashed and pulp-ed bark
That paints our thought on page’s script.

The Wink From Source
Heat blasted from the dashboard into our car
Battling against the wintry chill as I gazed
Out through the windshield at a brilliant star.
Searching for a navigational anchor
My memory dredged through old knowledge, unfazed,
Evoking the constellation Ursa Major.
